The Chairman, Rev. Joseph Hayab, denounced the proclamation of Ade Abraham, while urging Christians in the state to disregard the fraudulent proclamation. In a statement, yesterday, in Kaduna, Hayab noted: “The attention of CAN, Kaduna State chapter, has been drawn to the news in some sections of the media about one pastor described as Ade Abraham, offering to take his members to heaven if they pay N310,000. “Though Abraham’s offer of a ticket to heaven is cheaper than the ransom Kaduna bandits ask their victims; sadly, CAN has not found anyone that knows the location of the church or established a church in Kaduna town with that name.” According to Hayab, a faceless character like ...

  Super Eagles update: Omeruo, Aribo, Dennis, 15 others in camp March 22, 2022 Kenneth Omeruo joined the Super Eagles camp on Tuesday to make the number of those on ground 18. Jo Aribo, Calvin Bassey, Innocent Bonke and Emmanuel Dennis had earlier arrived before Omeruo. The count ended at 13 yesterday when Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho joined the team. Bonke came in as replacement for Wilfred Ndidi who got injured during a UEFA Europa Conference League game against Rennes. Emmanuel Dennis returns to the side after failing to join up for the AFCON campaign due to misunderstandings between club and country. Napoli hitman, Victor Osimhen is among those still being expected. Germany hammer Armenia 6-0 to top World Cup qualifying group 5 September 2021 Germany players jubilating Serge Gnabry netted twice as Germany thrashed Armenia 6-0 on Sunday in Stuttgart to replace the visitors at the top spot of their World Cup qualifying group. Gnabry showed off his stirring-gesture celebration with early goals before Marco Reus and Timo Werner also netted in the first-half as Germany raced into a 4-0 half-time lead.  Jonas Hofmann netted the fifth, then helped set up 19-year-old Karim Adeyemi to score on his debut as the Germans usurped the shell-shocked Armenians, who last lost a competitive game more than a year ago, to go two points clear at the top of Group J.
